JOURNEY

This is our girl Journey, who we found on the side of the road, starving and full of screwworms which are parasitic flies whose larvae can eat through skin and tissue of warm-blooded animals. These larva left 3 large holes in poor Journeys body. Screwworms live in the Caribbean and South America.

This was an unbelievably bad case, but lucky for Journey, we had the amazing Len Lafleche taking care of her wounds.
